How to create a new product from product module?

  1. Click the Products module in the left sidebar. Then, click the + button and select New Product. You will be redirected to the product add page.


  2. Enter the details for your new product.

    • Product Name: The name of your new product.
    • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): Storing your barcode information on this field will enable you to use a barcode scanner to add items to your orders, invoices and bills.
    • Brand: The brand of new product.
    • Category: The categories of new products.
    • Status: The status of a new product whether active, draft or inactive. Active means the product is available, draft means the product has not been published and inactive means the product is not available.
    • Product Description: Description of the new product.
    • Currency: Choose your product currency.
    • Selling Price: Record your item’s average sales price.
    • Cost Price: Total price that it costs a manufacturer.
    • Preferred Vendor: Choose the vendor that you prefer for the product.

  3. If your product is variation products, you are able to switch the variation on to enable variation for this product.



    • Variation Name: The type of variation name.
    • Variation Option: The model of your variation product.

  4. If you required more variation tiers level, you are able to click for Add Variation.
  5. You can enable or disable Track Inventory by checkbox the recording of the stock movement transactions.
  6. Stock inventory details will appears in inventory module page once you click track inventory.



    • Opening Stock: Enter the stock numbers that you have on hand at the moment.
    • Reserved Stock: Stocks that are kept for some goods issued.
    • Reorder Point: Enter a number when the stock reaches the reorder point and will display an alert.
    • Warehouse: Select a warehouse for the product.
    • Bin Location: Enter the bin location where stock are located.

  7. Click the right symbol in top right to save the product.
